आँखों मे काजल (mascara in eyes)

डर तो हमें खन्जर का था साहब...... पर वो कम्बख्त अपनी आँखों में काजल छुपा लाए। English translation- We were afraid of knives, sir …… But she brought mascara in her eyes.

फितरत बदल दिए (changed therir nature)

रस्सीयाँ घिसते घिसते पत्थरों ने सुरत बदल लिए, जो खुद को कभी मोम कहा करते थे वो अपनी फितरत बदल दिए। English translation- Rope-weaving also changed the stones, Those who once called themselves wax changed their nature.

ऐ तस्वीरों में बसर करने वाले, ज़रा निकल कर तस्वीरों से बाहर तो आ। कब तक ख्यालों में मैं इश्क फरमाता रहूँ, आ बैठ किसी शाम बहाने चाय के ही गुफ्तगू फरमा। English translation- O living in pictures, Just come out of the pictures. How long do I keep flirting with thoughts, Come and sit on the pretext of tea for some evening.

यादें (memories)

कब तक उल्झा रहूँ तेरे इन तस्वीरों में, इनमें तेरे लबों की आवाज नहीं। मैं क्या करूँ उन यादों का, जिनमें तेरे होने का अहसास नहीं। तू ना रहता तो भूल भी जाऊँ, तेरे होनें पर भी तू मेरे पास नहीं। English translation- How long will I be disappointed in these pictures of you, There is no voice of your lips in them. What do I do with those memories, In which you do not feel like being. If you don't live then I forget you too But you are not with me.

कोई गुनाह ना कर दे (do not commit any crime)

देख तेरे हुस्न को हम कोई गुनाह ना कर दे, युँ सज सवर जो लेते हो किसी बदन के जलते हुस्न से कम दवा नहीं लगते। English translation- See your beauty, do not commit any crime, When you get ready look like a wound medicine.

कुछ वक्त गुजार आता हूँ।

इस उल्झी हुई सी जिन्दगी में जब अपनी मुहब्बत का ख्याल आता है ना, उसी साइकल पर बैठ तेरे घर का एक चक्कर लगा जाता हूँ। जब मेरा नफरत तेरे यादों से लङ कर हार जाता है ना, जेबो में वही टाॅफी भरे हर मिले हुए जगहों पर कुछ वक्त गुजार आता हूँ। English translation- When we remember our love in this confused life, Sitting on the same cycle, I make a round of your house. When my hate loses from your memories, By keeping the same candy in the pocket, I spend some time at every previously found places.

हुस्न की सादगी (simlply city of beauty)

खुदा ने तेरी सादगी में इस कदर हुस्नो सवाब छुपा रख्खा है, जैसे ढलती शामो में गुरूब-ए-आफताब का समां रख्खा है। English translation- God has hidden the beauty so much in your simplicity, As the sun is facing in the evening.

गालो पर गड्डे (Dimple)

भूल तो हम इतना गए हैं कि अब उनकी सायद ही याद आए, मसला फकत बस इतना है कि खुदा अब उनके जैसा किसी और के गालो पर गड्डे ना दिखाए। English translation- We have forgotten so much that we can hardly remember him, The only problem is that God should not show the pits on the cheeks of someone else like him.

वो पत्थर (stone heart)

वो पत्थर, जिस पर इश्क में मेरा इमान आया। सूरत तो बदला सही, मगर उसमें मेरे जैसा जान न आया। English translation- Those stones, On which my honor came in love. Appearance changed, But it did not want like me.

ख्वाहिशों की मेहरबानियाँ (kind of wishes)

जिन ज़ुल्फ़ो के सायो में तुम अपनी आशिक़ी फरमा रहे हो ना, वो हमारी ख्वाहिशों की मेहरबानियाँ है। 😉 English translation- In the shadow of which hair You are making your love, That is kind to my wishes.

परदे में रहा करो

कुछ इंसानियत बरकरार है तो परदे में रहा करो, ये हुस्नो-जमाल देख हम आशिकों का दिल दहल जाता है। सिर्फ ज़वानो तक बात होती तो उम्र पर इल्जाम दे देता, यहाँ पर बूढ़ों का भी दिल मचल जाता है। English translation- If some humanity is intact, then stay on the screen. Seeing this beauty, we lovers are shocked. If I had talked only to youths, I would blame the age, Here, older's heart is also disturbed.

कत्ल की साज़िश (conspiracy of muder)

तेरी हर नादानियाँ मुझे क़ुबूल है, बेवजह तेरी गुस्ताखियां मुझे क़ुबूल है। थम जाता है वक्त तेरे ना होने से, तेरे मुहब्बत में हर परेशानियां मुझे क़ुबूल है। तू और तुझसे नजदीकियां मुझे क़ुबूल है, क़ुबूल हैे....क़ुबूल है....क़ुबूल है। English translation- I accept your every fool, I needlessly accept your mischief. Time stops because you are not there, I have every problem in your love. You and I are close to you Accept … Accept… Accept...

दिल की बात ज़ुबाँ पर (heart matter on toungh)

जो दिल मे भरी बातें है, उसे ज़ुबाँ पर भी रख्खा करो। माना ये जुमलों पर चल रही दुनियाँ, अमा थोङा तो इमान रख्खा करो। English translation- Which is a heartfelt talk, Keep it on the tongue too. Suppose these world running on jumals Sir Keep some faith.

Behaisiyat ishq

अब होता होगा मुहब्बत लिबाज़ और हैसियत देखकर, हम तो माँ की सिली चड्डी और अब्बा की पुरानी साइकल पर मोहतरमा से मिल आते थे। English translation- Now love will be seen by attire and status, We used to meet lover on mother's hand tights and father's old cycle.

इंतज़ार

हर शाम एक गज़ल गुनगुनाते वो छत पर इंतज़ार करती है, अदा करती है नमाज़े मगरिब और मेरे छोटे के नाम से हम कलाम करती है। फरीयाद करती है रब से सर को बे हिज़ाब करती है, पलके झुकाती है हया से और बङे अदब से सलाम करती है।

ख्याल(think)

अब मलाल तो कुछ नहीं दिल में, बस अक्सर तुम्हारी ख्याल आती है। एक बाार ख्यालो पर छा जाती है, जो उसकी मजाल कहाँ जाती है। English translation- Now nothing is in my heart, Just think of you often. Once the thoughts take over, Which is where his glory goes.

Honor (इमान)

कहने को तो किरायेदार है साहब, पर घर का एक-एक सामान बेच दे रहे हैं। दोष तो इनके नस्लो में है, जो हराम के पैसो पर अपने साथ हमारा भी इमान बेच दे रहे हैं। English translation- Sir, the tenant is there to say But they are selling every single item of the house. The fault lies in their breeds, Those who are selling their honor on illegal money as well as ours.

Ishq ka tarika (way of love)

ये ख्वाहिशों का दौर है लाहा, लोग चाहत को नहीं मानते। इश्क तो लोग कर लेते है, पर करने और निभाने का तरीका नहीं जानते। English translation - This is the phase of wishes, Laha... People do not accept desire. People do love, But do not know how to do and keep it.

Do gaz jamin (two feet land)

इस बन्द मुठ्ठी के लकीरों मे खुदा जाने मैं क्या लाया हूँ , बेहक रही इस मतलबी दुनिया में एक दो गज़ ज़मीन लिखा लाया हूँ । English Translation- In the lines of this closed fist,God knows what I have brought. I have written a two feet land in this mean world that is not working.

Honor (इमान)

मैं भी अब बेच रहा हूँ, है कोई जो इमान खरीद ले। कायम रहेगा अब मेरे इमान पर है कोई जो मेरे इमान पर ये इमान कर ले। English Translation- I am also selling now, There is someone who buys honor. Will stay on my honor now There is someone who does this honor on my honor.

Unconscious love

अब तो तेरे ख्यालो में हम बेहया कहे जाने लगे हैं, जब कभी इश्क़ का जिकर् हो तेरा नाम ले कर हम मुस्कुराने लगे है। English Translation- Now in your thoughts we have started being called unconscious Whenever there is mention of love, by taking your name we have started smiling.
